The fundraising initiative will showcase the very best the Central Highlands region has to offer with products from homewares and clothing to gourmet produce.
From artists and makers, to artisan growers and bakers, it is hoped the market will allow the community to engage with and express support for the health and wellbeing facilities Hepburn Health provides while providing a place for people to purchase unique gifts before Christmas.
There will be somewhat of a Christmas theme, with face painting for the kids, lucky dips and even a special appearance by Santa.
Fiona Harris, from Daylesford Aromatherapy, will be one of the stallholders who will be selling her products from her line, The Aromatic Witch.
Manager for Fundraising, Events and Marketing, Peter McConvill said the market would raise money for equipment at the organisation’s centres at Creswick, Clunes, Daylesford and Trentham.
“Stallholders receive widespread promotion and, even more importantly, will be seen as responsible corporate citizens by contributing to the shire-wide Hepburn Health Service, supporting fundraising to purchase the necessary equipment vital to keep our local health service thriving.”
Interested vendors are asked to submit expressions of interest before Friday, November 2, to the health service’s Peter McConvill on 0412 204 621 or by email: peterm@hhs.vic.gov.au
The market will be held in the grounds of Creswick Hospital at 1 Napier Street on Saturday, December 1 from 3pm to 8pm.
