Reunion organiser and former school captain Cheryl Gruer said many former students still lived in the region, but others travelled from as far as Western Australia, Queensland, Bendigo and Sydney to catch up with former classmates and teachers.
Many of the students had attended primary school together before continuing their education together in high school.
Apart from students, another familiar face was former home economics and junior science teacher Roberta Ogden.
Ms Gruer organised a weekend of activities, including a meet and greet, dinner and barbecue at the school.
David Dickens said their year had about 120 students in year seven, but that number declined as people left for jobs throughout high school. Students from Daylesford Convent who transferred to the school in forms three and four were also invited to attend the reunion.
