The money was raised through donations to an online MyCause page, totalling almost $6000 in the lead up to the event, as well as an additional $10,000 raised through merchandise sales and $5000 raised at auction on the day of the event.
Event organiser Sebastian Walsh said it was “amazing” to see so many of his family, friends and locals join forces and come together on such a special day.
“It shows what a great and supportive community we have and their willingness to participate in the day to help raise money for MND Victoria was simply sensational,” he said.
One of the main drawcards of the event was the dunking of nine local celebrities, including representatives from Daylesford and Hepburn Football Netball Clubs, Chillout Festival, medical personnel and members of the Walsh family.
