The club has put out a call for registrations for both new and existing players and teams with the new competition scheduled to begin on Saturday, October 13.
Secretary James Maher said the upcoming season was “exciting”.
“It is shaping as an exciting season, with 290 metres worth of new fencing installed around the grass courts and four new shade structures about to be installed. These facilities will complement the broader complex, in particular our existing grass courts.”
The club, located in Bridge Street near the old Creswick Botanical Gardens in the Park Lake Reserve, has 16 grass courts as well as 13 hard courts which are open to the public.
It caters for all age groups and runs four major pennant competitions each week, including juniors, seniors, mid-week ladies and the Twilight Corporate Cup.
It also runs a junior hot shots program for children to learn the game, no matter their age or ability. Children involved in the hot shots program play with modified equipment like light raquets and low compression balls.
