Almost 100 events will celebrate the region’s unique identity, focusing on four key streams, highlighting lifestyle and wellness, music, food and the arts.
Across the five day festival program, which will run from November 14 to 18, festival goers will be able to experience concerts from high profile musical names, such as Katie Noonan, Deborah Conway, Jack Thompson, Lior and musical due Vika and Linda.
Also joining festival directors Kate Ceberano and David Bromley will be creative thinkers from the likes of cartoonist Michael Leunig, to former Australian Rules Footballer and now natural health coach Mark Bunn and founder of The Body Image Movement, Taryn Brumfitt.
Also on the cards are workshops led by internationally renowned floral designer Katie Davis, a ballet presentation from acclaimed Amy Hollingsworth and two principal dancers from the Queensland Ballet Company along with food experiences from chef and nutritionist Sam Gowing at The Lake House in Daylesford.
Co-Creative Director, Kate Ceberano, said the aim of Live. Love. Life was for people to find what it was that made them feel alive.
"Wellness is such a subjective thing, so our hope is to create a festival that shines a light on a very special region that boasts some of the most successful health therapies in the world,” she said.
"We would love for people to join us at the festival and identify what wellness means to them. Visitors can choose from yoga, a walk by the lake, a visit to the hot springs or enjoy great music to provoke or soothe their senses. We invite visitors to find what it is they need to feel more alive."
Daylesford Macedon Tourism received substantial funding through the state government’s Regional Events Fund to produce the Live. Life. Love festival over three years.
Minister for Tourism and Major Events, John Eren said the festival provided the perfect opportunity for tourists to visit to the Daylesford region, which he said was home to some of Victoria’s most well-known spas and wellness centres.
“We are proud to support the Live. Love. Life. Festival through our Regional Events Fund, which helps regional communities to grow their visitor economy and support local jobs," he said.
Our hope is to create a festival that shines a light on a very special region that boasts some of the most successful health therapies in the world.
