This gave Daylesford the three points, a finish of fourth, and a spot in the elimination final next Saturday.
The week off will freshen the Saints players and allow them to go full boar into the must-win final against Ballarat Red Soccer Club.
Returning for the Seniors will be Aidan Mayger and Claude Labeast, who will add some pace and power for the Saints.
Ballarat Red have beaten Daylesford on both occasions, 6-5 and 5-0, so the odds are stacked against the Saints.
However, Daylesford and Hepburn United will field a stronger squad than on both those occasions.
The match will be a cracker, no doubt, with a spot in the grand final up for grabs if Daylesford can win two in a row.
The game will be played at Morshead Park in Ballarat, on Saturday 1st of September, time yet to be confirmed.
The Saints sit fourth on the ladder, below Horsham and District on 21 points, 35 goal differential; Forest Rangers on 21, 28 and Ballarat Red on 21, 35.
