It was a game of two halves, with the Saints dominating early, but Horsham scored at the other end, with a fluke of a cross shot going in off the post.
Daylesford was 1-0 down at half time, but came out firing with two quick goals to super-star Jack Nulty, to give a handy lead.
But Horsham battled hard, beating Daylesford out wide on many occasions, and crossing to deliver two goals.
Controversy reigned in the final 20 minutes, with two yellow cards and two red cards, an offside goal disallowed to Daylesford, and penalty claims at both ends.
The Saints need to win their final game next week to secure the last spot in the finals.
