The staircase to the waterfall was upgraded with a non-slip walking strip earlier this month.
The push for visitors comes one year after the completion of major upgrade works which reopened the falls to the public.
The staircase to Sailors Falls had been closed for more than two years from May 2015 until August 2017 due to floodwater damage.
Nearby residents had despaired at the lengthy closure, saying it was disappointing the attraction had been closed for so long.
The new staircase provides easy entry to the base of the waterfall and allows wheelchair access to the first viewing platform.
More than 31,000 trips have been made up and down since its opening in August last year, according to Parks Victoria.
