A singer-songwriter from Melbourne, self-taught on guitar and piano, Dixon has spent substantial parts of his youth travelling the world sharing his songs.
From teaching guitar to kids in an orphanage in northern India, to busking in the old town of Stockholm, he has shared his musical rhythm among many.

Friday, Paige Duggan @ Blue Bean Cafe
Ballarat jazz performer Paige Duggan is joined by guitarist and bassist, performing an ecelectic mix of jazz standards.
While Duggan’s style references the jazz greats, contemporary and classic, her years as a singer-songwriter crossing genres as a vocal performer has evolved her voice into a unique and exciting one.
While her voice is unique, it also pays tribute to the early great ladies of jazz, as well as contemporary jazz and blues stars.
Saturday, Greg Steps @ Blue Bean Cafe
Sunday, Open Mic @ Blue Bean Cafe
Saturday, Delsinki and Rex Watts @ Bridge Hotel Castlemaine
Shape-shifting “uncategorisable post-colonialist”, Delsinki will release his debut album And No Place Was Found for Them.
It’s an amalgam of honest and compelling narratives about war, loss, ageing, tribalism, emotions, nature, the futility of urban life and the perils of conformity.
Delsinki has a great band, including Justin Brady from Things of Stone and Wood, rhythm section and vocalists Ruby, Brooke Taylor and Coby Grant – all of whom share the spotlight on this album.
His approach contains traces of Leonard Cohen, Tim Winton and John Brack.
Support is from local legend, Rex Watts.
Railroad Rex performs on guitar, mandolin and vocals with a vast songbook of great country songs.
