On their home court, Hepburn defeated Carngham 73 to 28 while Clunes defeated Beaufort 33 to 30. Creswick also secured a narrow win, defeating a persistent Waubra 44 to 43.
Daylesford put up a fight against a strong Gordon outfit, but was defeated by the home team 56 to 12.
Newlyn was also beaten by a very strong Buninyong outfit, 20 to 68.
The shire’s B-grade teams also played fantastic netball on Saturday with both Hepburn and Clunes taking home a win each.
On their home court, Hepburn defeated Carngham 43 to 31.
Beaufort could not hold up against a strong Clunes outfit, being defeated 20-45.
It was a great game between Waubra and Creswick, but home team Waubra took the game by 19 points, with a final score of 56 to 37.
Daylesford could not hold up against Gordon, being defeated by 41 points, 57-16.
