The Saints did well to be up 2-1 at the break but the Vikings were relentless and scored two scrambled goals to lift itself to three points, behind Daylesford, who are sitting at fifth on the ladder.
The Saints missed a number of clear-cut chances for goal while the Vikings played good soccer, scoring their chances when needed.
Best on ground were star defenders Richard Malter and Andrew Barnham.
