The exhibition, to be held at Gallery 5, will be the opening event for Clunes’ Words in Winter Festival.
The Clunes Artists Group, established in 2004, has put on the exhibition as the opening event for the festival for a number of years.
Coordinator of the Clunes Artists Group, Marlene Tozer, said up to 30 people would be exhibiting their works, with each of those people able to enter up to three pieces.
“We will exhibit all media. Sculpture, prints, paintings; everything you can think of. We even have a doll maker who makes miniature dolls,” she said.
This year, four prizes, all donated by local businesses, will be on offer, one for two-dimensional works, one for three-dimensional works, an encouragement award and a people’s choice award.
The works will be judged by Wesley College’s art teacher, Robyn Hunter.
The exhibition will open on Friday August 3 at 6pm. It will remain open for three weekends, August 4-5, 11-12 and 18-19 from 10am to 4pm or by appointment.
