Hepburn Shire’s teams played strong across the board in the A-grade matches.
In Gordon, Clunes defeated the home team 40-30, while Hepburn was also victorious, defeating Waubra on its home court 51-41.
Ballan and Creswick drew in a high scoring game in Ballan, with both teams scoring 48 goals by the final siren.
In Daylesford, Learmonth annihilated the home team, taking the game 83-16.
Newlyn received similar results, being defeated by Springbank 61-30.

The Shire’s teams were no luckier in the B-grade, being defeated in every match.
In Gordon, Clunes was defeated 25-34 by the home team while home team Ballan one their game against Creswick by two goals, beating them 27-25.
Over in Daylesford, Learmonth were the clear winners with a final score of 55-25 while Newlyn was defeated 23-30 by a strong Springbank outfit.
