The band’s repertoire spans early swing, jive and blues to modern jazz.
Creating a balance of vocal and instrumental swing, jazz and blues numbers, including a cover of Johnny Cash’s Folsom Blues captured in a swing jazz rhythm.
The band loves to switch instruments throughout each set, offering a rich selection of up-tempo tunes suitable for dancing and toe-tapping, as well as the classic jazz standards.
Moodswing consists of Russell James (piano, accordion and vocals), Jim Brannon (clarinet, saxophone, ukulele, percussion and vocals) and Pip Avent (tuba, bass guitar, double bass and vocals).

From teaching guitar to kids in an orphanage in northern India, to busking in the old town of Stockholm, he has shared his musical rhythm among many.

Perch Creek are a band of five multi-talented musicians, four of whom are siblings.
This Melbourne-based international touring act writes and performs harmony-driven modern pop/folk music.
The band will bring their unique sound and live show to the Theatre Royal as part of national headline tour in support of a new self-titled album.
With three lead singers and diverse instrumentation, Perch Creek combines five-part vocal harmonies with folk, pop, roots and rock musical styles.
The album was produced by renowned artist Greg J Walker (Machine Translations, C.W Stoneking, Paul Kelly, Jen Cloher) and features his trademark lush sound and quirky additions.
The album presents 10 diverse tracks, each beautifully crafted and emotionally engaging.
First single Mama Sings has been receiving great reviews and enjoyed airplay on Triple J, Double J, ABC Radio National and various local and community stations across Australia and Canada.
