Oscar Violante, for Daylesford and Hepburn United was the sole goal scorer, scoring the match winning goal at the 47th minute.
Daylesford and Hepburn United’s Govinda Hackenberger received two yellow cards and a red card at the 77th minute.
Dylan Nulty also received a yellow card at the 62 minute mark.
The round-10 clash was Daylesford and Hepburn United’s seventh win for the season. The club is equal on wins and losses with second place team, Forest Rangers, but trail on goal differential.
Meanwhile, also in division two open competition, Creswick also had success on the field over Victoria Park, defeating the home team 1-3 at Victoria Park on Sunday.
Nicholas Daykin also scored Creswick’s first goal of the game, with Eric Yan scoring two more goals for Creswick in the latter stages.
It was a come-from-behind win after Victoria Park’s Liam Trigger found the back of the net in the first half to lead Creswick 1-0 at half-time.
