The winter instalment of the Four Seasons Fine Music Festival will see soprano Greta Bradman play in Clunes.
Bradman is currently performing her ‘Home’ tour, which is a musical tribute to her homeland.
The songs feature arias that encapsulate the essence of family, friends and returning to one’s place of origin.
Festival director Ryan Bennett said he was overjoyed when Bradman agreed to perform in Clunes.
“Greta is well known as a very fine soprano with a rich and beautiful voice and, of course, as the granddaughter of Sir Donald Bradman. We are very fortunate that Greta has been able to include our historic Anglican church in Clunes in her ‘Home’ tour.”
Bradman will be accompanied by pianist Kate Johnson.
Concertgoers are encouraged to stay after the concert to chat with Bradman and enjoy supper, which will be provided for a small donation, to be put towards restoring the historic church.
The concert will take place at 5pm on June 17 at St Paul’s Anglican Church, Clunes.
Tickets fare available through www.gretabradman.com and are priced at $52 or $45 concession.
