Friday, Eilen Jewell @ Theatre Royal, Castlemaine
Eilen Jewell and her fabulous band will be playing in support of their blues/rockabilly influenced album of last year, Down Hearted Blues.
Jewell and her band will be ripping through tunes from that album and all her catalogue in a night of country twang, Americana and reworked blues classics.
The band is worth catching to hear the sublime guitar work of Jerry Miller from 60s US band Moby Grape.
Jewell describes her work by saying “we really love to uncover the past.”
