Daylesford’s under 13s dominated against Creswick, beating them 10-0. Daylesford’s goal scorers were: Otis Smith 5, Mehdi Bennani 2, Tulley Pelham 1, Zach Koleski 1, and Logan Koleski 1.
The Daylesford under 15 side went down to Creswick, 2-0. Michael Armstrong had standout game in goal and the defensive line of Miles Wilkinson, Rohan Singaram and Eric Kelly were solid.
The Daylesford Seniors had a classic 1-0 win over arch rivals Sebastopol Vikings. The seniors were without Zoran Drogriski and Sean Luduke, but still managed a handful of big chances in the first half.
Daylesford were on the ropes early and lucky not to concede goals, thanks to Josh Smith in goals, and Richard Malter, Claude Tankville and Shanka Hackanburgar.
Rory Pacetrotter found the net eventually, and was excellent all day, but the Pumpers have Josh Smith to thank after saved a penalty with 20 minutes to go.
