Daylesford raised $20,089, Clunes raised $15,060 and Trentham raised $5,214 for the hospital.
Nearby in Ballarat, residents donated $123,581.
This year, the amount of money raised totaled $18,043,251, surpassing the record funds raised in 2017.
The 2017 total was $17,605,662.
Director of the Good Friday Appeal, Anne Randall, said she is over the moon with excitement at the amount.
“The funds raised yesterday will help sick children and their families who are under the care of the wonderful Royal Children’s Hospital.
“The total is truly overwhelming and that is thanks to the dedicated communities across Victoria and beyond, who have all come together to help us reach this phenomenal result.
“Importantly, we would like to acknowledge those Area Managers in the regional areas, as well as the people within those communities, for your incredible generosity.
“From the tin rattlers to those organising the events all across the state, your support makes Good Friday such a special day for everyone,” Ms Randall said.
More than 100,000 people volunteered their time to assist with this year’s fundraiser.
More than $345 million has been raised for the benefit of sick children since the appeal began in 1931.
The Good Friday Appeal took place on Friday March 30.
