Clunes Neighbourhood House co-ordinator, Lana de Kort, said the event was about meeting others and creating a sense of belonging.
“Feeling a sense of belonging is a big part of being at home in your community.
“This free family day event is an opportunity for people who live in or near Clunes to come along, get to know each other and participate in many of the great activities we’ll be running to showcase what is available to them in Clunes.”
The event is a collaboration between Clunes Neighbourhood House, Hepburn Health, The Royal Flying Doctor’s Service, Central Highlands Water and Hepburn Shire Council.
The event will include live entertainment, lots of kids activities, information and food stalls, a sausage sizzle and a welcome to new residents.
The day will take place from 10am to 2pm at Clunes Football and Netball Ground in Cameron Street.
