The Whiskey Room is Mary Bureaux, Sue Klerks and Bernard Klerks.
Each person brings a wealth of musical experience spanning jazz, blues and classical genres.
Bureaux studied jazz at NMIT, creative arts at VCA and has sung in jazz-blues-funk, reggae and indie bands.
Bernard has studied jazz (bass and double bass) at VCA and has played in jazz, reggae, popular and blues bands, touring Germany and Ireland as a musician.
Sue’s training was in classical music, but she has always enjoyed singing jazz and blues and has played and sang in a range of popular, acapella, jazz and blues groups.
Their repertoire consists of old-style blues and folk songs with a touch of jazz.

Featuring blues, jump, jazz, Latin, R & B, this group promises to get all punters up on their feet.
The band is made up of seasoned musicians from Maldon/Castlemaine including Fran Sylvester Cox on vocals; Bronwen Algate on piano, keyboards and flute; Nicolas Cathary on guitar; James Cox on saxes, clarinet, bongoes and general honks; Ken Holden on drums; and Kevin Zibell on bass.

Gale is a passionate musician who has performed throughout many venues in Melbourne and Western Australia.
Over the years, she has had several live performances on Triple R radio.
In 2010, Gale won an original music competition supporting Angie Hart at the Northcote Social Club and in 2011 had an original song feature in a Jeans West advertisement.
She’s also played support piano for Ronan Keating and other artists.
Gale has a high vocal range and plays both guitar and piano.
She likes to create variety when she performs, mixing her sets with both originals and covers.

On her fourth album and 15 years into her career, Cloher has left critics and fans alike reaching for new superlatives, confirming her place as one of the country’s most important musicians.
Cloher’s self-titled album – released through her own label Milk! Records – received five-star reviews from The Guardian, Herald Sun and The Independent (UK).
It was longlisted for the AMP and also listed in Rough Trade’s Top Albums of 2017. She was also crowned Double J’s Australian Artist of the Year.
