Saturday, Smith, Consci & Mathers @ Spa Bar, Daylesford
Jerome Smith was born in New York City and grew up in Harlem. From the age of 7, he knew he was destined to play the bass.
He co-wrote and recorded as a member of the New York rock group Body Bag, which led to work with Mick Jagger followed by gigs with Divinyls and Keith Richards.
Smith moved to Sydney in 1996, going on to work with musicians such as Bridie King, Billy Thorpe, Jackie Orsaczky, Jimmy Barnes and Ian Moss.
A native New Yorker, Jeff Consci is the drummer for the Badloves, a band with historical Daylesford connections.
Consci has been playing drums for nearly 40 years.
Regular keyboardist at the Spa Bar, Grant Mathers, will lead these guys in a blues/rock/funk show.
