Sebastopol’s Tanner Dickson-Arthur is the Central Victorian region under-25 men’s bowls champion. He defeated Gisborne’s Sam Rogers at Daylesford.
Rogers shot out to a 9-2 lead after eight ends before Tanner worked his way back into the game, winning ends 13 to 17 to lead 14-11.
Dickson-Arthur, who beat Webbcona’s Todd Blackburn in a semi-final will represent the region against 15 other regional finalists in initial knockout rounds also on February 25. The top two will contest the state title at Bendigo East in April.
