Ms Risitrom has married several same-sex couples since January 9, the first day same-sex couples were officially able to marry after the passing of the same-sex marriage legislation on December 7 last year.
“Some couples have waited decades for the day to arrive when they are able to marry their partner,” Ms Risitrom said.
“I want to be part of that experience.”
Ms Risitrom will be marrying couples in her Carnival Day Love Chapel.
This year marks the 21st birthday for Chillout Festival and Ms Risitrom says marriage equality adds a new element to the event.
Ms Risitrom, along with Gillian Barclay and Leslie Ridgeway will be performing marriages at the five-day event. The 2018 ChillOut Festival will be held in Daylesford from March 9-13.
