The Parks Victoria Junior Rangers program is encouraging children to enjoy the great outdoors these summer holidays while learning about Victoria’s parks, wildlife and cultural and natural heritage from park rangers.
The program is for children between the ages of six and 12 and aims to foster a natural curiosity in children to want to explore, appreciate and protect Victoria’s parks.
Held in Creswick National Park, the Minibeast Discovery (at St George’s Lake) and Bush Detectives (at La Gerche Gully) programs are being led by park rangers on select days between January 11 and 23.
The program is free. For more information and to book, visit: www.juniorrangers.com.au
