A man is dead after a collision between a car and a truck at Newbury earlier this morning.

The driver of the car, a man in his 30s, died in his vehicle.
Police at the scene said the Isuzu truck was travelling north on Greendale-Trentham Road, when it collided head on with the car, an early-model Holden Commodore travelling south.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating.
Emergency workers including the CFA responded to the collision at the intersection of Greendale-Trentham and Beachs roads about 7.30am.
A man in his 30s has suffered minor leg injuries and is in a stable condition. He is being taken to Ballarat Base Hospital to be medically assessed.
