Presentations included the club’s annual awards, with Shayne Wallace taking out club champion aggregate, Brian Scantlebury the club champion handicap and Michaela Shirley the Hardy Family Junior trophy.

Bowls
Division 3 of weekend pennant, Clunes Bowling Club travelled to Ballarat North. Skippers Andrew Ingram won by 12 shots, Narelle Vorbach by nine and Mark Vorbach by four. Clunes won outright by 16 shots.
In Division 7, Clunes was home to Mt Xavier. Clunes skippers Lee Dixon’s rink won by 17, Peter Smith’s by five, Satch Niemiec by 20 and Josh Polson with Rex Martin, Bernie Rees and Ken Vorbach by 23 shots. Clunes won outright by 65 shots.
In midweek pennant, Clunes Division 2 travelled to Mt Xavier. Clunes’ Narelle Vorbach won by 12 shots and John Dellavedova’s by one. Mt Xavier won by 10.
Division 5 travelled to Beaufort. Clunes won one rink, with Clunes skipper Laurie Judd winning by two shots. Beaufort won by 12.
Geoff Annear has won the club championship. Annear played Howard Smith in the final. The annual club Harvey Family Memorial turkey triples was won by Craig Drewer, Sheila Hollingworth and Ken Vorbach.

Tennis
Saturday competition at Daylesford Lawn Tennis Club: Lewis Ingham won Section 1 with 25/10. In Section 2 Craig Wade 24/11 edged out John Turnbull 20/15 second.
Thursday twilight tennis resumes February 1 and social tennis will be held each Sunday over the holidays at 10am, or 9.30am if hot. Saturday afternoon tennis resumes December 30.
