Tennis season 2017 finally kicks off at Daylesford Lawn Tennis

The Daylesford Lawn Tennis season has finally started with senior players on Thursday and juniors Saturday morning.

During Saturday afternoon competition, Gabe Kirby won section two 20/1, followed by John Turnbull with 20/17.  

In Section one Greg Malcher (23/18) edged out Barry Dimond 23/19.

Junior tennis continues this week, with registration at 9.15am for a 9.30am start. Beginner players are also welcome for our HotShots program: prep-Grade 3 beginners to attend at 9.45am, with Grade 4 and above to attend at 10.20am.

A strategic planning meeting has been for the club will be held on Sunday, November 12 at 10am at 39 Western Avenue, Hepburn Springs.

Clunes Golf Club

A team from the Clunes Golf Club has taken out the Charleston/Hunt Pennant.

The Hunt Shield was presented to the pennant Team of Dean Marshall, Lawrie Lees, Kevin Steart, Rob Dixon, Ray Skinner, Graeme Rowland and Lee Marshall.
