Police recorded 850 offences in the last quarter, up by 42.38 per cent since 2014.
Assaults have increased by 12.5 per cent, while burglaries are up 17.2 per cent.
Dangerous and negligent acts surged 27.3 per cent and stalking and harassment cases climbed by 29.413 per cent.
Recent cases include an armed robbery at a Daylesford liquor shop in May when hooded offenders pointed a handgun at a Cellarbrations bottle shop employee.
Last fortnight over $60,000 worth of equipment was stolen from the Daylesford Spa Country Railway.
