Treacy, from Daylesford, joined the club 25 years ago as a year 10 student and has been on target at the pistol club ever since.
Treacy said club members meet each Saturday at Trentham East for a social day and shoot.
“We shoot at paper targets on a 25-metre range, and I have always enjoyed it,” Treacy said.
“My dad was always a shooter and one day he asked me to go out bush to shoot, and I loved it. Then I joined the pistol club and shot with him, and I still shoot now.”
Treacy said she was very pleased to be honoured with a life membership.
“I am very proud of the award and it’s nice to be recognised. The club is like a family to me and I love being part of that family.”
The Daylesford Spa Pistol Club caters for a range of pistol shooting competitions, with a focus on the International Shooting Sport Federation target pistol disciplines.
