Established in 1867, the Burras turned 150 this season and have locked in a three-day sequence of events to mark the milestone.
The festivities are centered around the Central Highlands Football League round 17 clash with Learmonth.
On Friday, August 11, a get-together will be held at the Old Hepburn Hotel before the catch-ups continue during the fixture against the Lakies the following day.
Western Bulldogs legend Doug Hawkins will be the special guest at a function that evening, where dinner will be provided by Highland Meats.
Nick Dal Santo, the former St Kilda and North Melbourne star, is set to play his third home and away game of 2017 for the Burras that day.
On Sunday, the show rolls on back at the Old Hepburn Hotel for breakfast/lunch and farewells.
Hepburn president Jason Dooley said Burras supporters, staff, players and volunteers past or present are invited to attend any of the gatherings. “It’s not every day that you have the opportunity to celebrate 150 years of a great organisation such as ours, so we hope to see lots of old faces across the weekend.”
The Burras have a bye in the CHFL this weekend.
