The classy Rangers who currently sit in second on the championship ladder proved far to strong for the Cougars all afternoon, with Haydn Smith ramming home four goals in a dominant outing.
Christopher Lee, Luke Moodley and Callum Best were also able to get on the board for Forest in what was the Rangers’ eighth win for the season.
The result leaves Creswick languishing at the bottom of the table, winless from 12 starts.
Meanwhile Daylesford and Hepburn United Soccer Club was unable to continue its impressive run in its first season in the top flight, succumbing 3-1 to the lowly Bacchus Marsh.
The Scorpions were able to register just their second win of the season on their home track at Masons Lane, but remain in ninth place on the table.
The results were no better for United’s division two outfit, who were put to the sword against Forest Rangers in Wendouree West. The second placed Rangers registered their seventh win of the season with a 7-0 thumping of the visitors to keep their title aspirations alive.
