A swarm of new members, many of them returning after years away from the game, has rejuvenated the Thursday twilight competition at the Daylesford Lawn Tennis Club.

In Section 2 Hepburn Healthy and Bold & Beautiful had a 24-all draw, while Rod’s Rockets 39 were merciless against Secondary Teachers 9, and Hobson’s Heroes defeated Newbies 34/14.
In Section 1, Pete’s Pistols edge out the Pres’s People 25/23 and Barry’s Diamonds beat Albert’s Aces 26/22.
On Saturday afternoon, Lew Ingham won Section 1. His 26/17 held out John Perkins’ 25/17. In Section 2 Greg Malcher 24/8 had a day out, ahead of Annette Rodda 17/15.
Section 1 Dominic Dennis dominated with 22/2 over Rennie Saunders 15/9. In section 2 Olivia Leonard prevailed with 15/9 followed by Ryan Colerio 14/10. In section 3, Mitchell Yanner beat Ari Scheltma 10/6. They were closely followed by Adam Leonard and Logan Koleski both 9/7.
The AGM and season opening dinner is on November 30 on the clubhouse balcony, after twilight tennis.
