Comedy 4 Karma is an annual fundraiser for the Daylesford Dharma School.
Comedians Bob Franklin and Dave Callan are among a line up of acts performing at Daylesford Town Hall on Saturday September 16.
Event MC David Callan is best known for his years on Rove Live and hosting Saturday nights on Triple J radio.
The fundraising event raised $15,000 for the school’s upkeep and admin costs last year. Comedians donate their time for the event.
Ballarat folk acoustic duo Ari and Rhiannon will perform before the comedy begins. A food truck and silent auction will also feature at the event.
The full list of comedians is to be announced but previous Comedy 4 Karma acts have included Tom Ballard, Dave O’Neil, Hannah Gadsby, Tony Martin, Cal Wilson, Luke McGregor and Celia Pacquola.
The Daylesford Dharma School is Australia’s only Buddhist primary school and one of three schools of its kind in the world. The school began in 2009 with 15 students and has over 60 students enrolled in 2017.
