RING: Bell-maker Anton Hasell will be speaking in Hepburn Springs on Sunday. His visit is part of a series of talks for Art-full Conversations in Pubs and Hubs. “We can talk about how amazingly adventurous life can be," he said.

The talk will take place at Peppers Mineral Springs Hotel as part of Art-full Conversations in Pubs and Hubs, which aims to spread the benefits of arts and culture to health and well-being.

Hasell will share his ventures in the “world of art”.

“The part that I love most of all is the invention – inventing things and having to find out information in order to explore them,” he said.

“I am very interested in possibilities with sound and using digital tools.”

Hasell designed the ‘Federation Bells’ at Birrarung Marr, an interactive space to celebrate Australia’s federation. He has been making sound sculpture, prints, paintings and bells since.

“We can talk about how amazingly adventurous life can be,” Hasell said.
