Bulldogs players, coaches, committee members and supporters from that era met at Victoria Park on Saturday for the club’s Central Highlands Football League clash against Ballan.
The fun continued on Sunday at the family day, where vision of the grand final win over Waubra was played.
Shane Skontra, who was coach of the Roos in 2007, attended the 10-year reunion and offered some insights into the thinking of the Bulldogs’ opposition in that grand final.
Daylesford scored an eight-point win over the Roos – 10.12 (72) to 9.10 (64) – to capture its maiden CHFL flag and first premiership since 1961.
Phil Davis was coach of the team and Rob Rodgers captain. John Goullet was president of the club at the time.
