City of Ballarat mayor Samantha McIntosh said the foursome, who reached number 20 on the iTunes albums charts with their independently released debut, were impressed the event was free.
The Teskey Brothers released Half Mile Harvest in January this year.
Laneways After Dark will feature free live music, light shows, art exhibitions and food trucks.
“It’s a fabulous coup for us to have The Teskey Brothers for Laneways After Dark in September,” Cr McIntosh said.
“Their willingness to come to Ballarat is recognition of Ballarat’s growing status as a music city.
“The Teskey Brothers are impressed that Laneways After Dark is a free event which has fueled their desire to perform here.”
Ballarat Laneways After Dark is on Saturday, September 9 at Art Gallery Ballarat McCain Hall, Alfred Deakin Place from 7-11pm.
