A car smashed into a tree in Creswick at the weekend, severely damaging the vehicle and leaving just a dent in the trunk.

It’s believed the collision occurred about 10.30am on Saturday near Coopers Reserve, opposite the town’s information centre.
The owner of the car said her friend lost control following wet weather but fortunately nobody suffered any critical injuries.
However, a group of thieves pounced over the weekend while her car was waiting to be towed, taking off with all the wheels of the sedan. Still recovering from the crash, the owner was at a loss to explain the crime.
It comes three months after debate reignited over what do to along Ballarat's tree-lined Avenue of Honour, with many in the city at odds over whether to move the trees, erect a barrier or reduce speed limits following safety concerns.
There have been two deaths and four cases of serious injuries along the road in the past five years, VicRoads data showed.
Police advised motorists to drive to conditions.
