The band’s repertoire spans early swing, jive, and blues, to modern Jazz. Creating a balance of vocal and instrumental swing, jazz and blues numbers, including a cover of Johnny Cash’s Folsom Blues, captured in a swing jazz rhythm. The band loves to switch instruments throughout their set, a rich selection of up-tempo tunes suitable for dancing and toe-tapping, as well as the classic Jazz standards.

Saturday, X @ Theatre Royal, Castlemaine
The 40th Anniversary Tour. Formed in 1977, X is a seminal punk band who cemented their place in the Australian underground. Their shows in the 80s are remembered for their raw power and bold social commentary. Still featuring founding member Steve Lucas, 40 years on, X is calling out to the people again to be ‘seen in the streets, raise your voices and unite! Pub rock lives and the punk ethic is alive and kicking.’
Saturday, Gillian and Terry, 80s Theme @ Old Hepburn Hotel
Dress up in 1980s theme. There will be prizes for best dressed and song raffles. Playing acoustic versions of everyone’s favourite classic hits from the the 1980s in their own style.
Saturday, Family Farm @ Horvat’s Supper Club
Stacy Kilpatrick and Steve Douglas are always coming up with something new. Using a variety of different musical instruments, they adjust each show to keep things fresh and exciting.
Expect some alt-country blues, bluegrass and southern soul on guitar, fiddle, piano, trumpet, banjo and upright bass. Performing their Americana inspired repertoire, playing the classics, with some originals thrown into the mix.
