In the first of three games, Dunnstown, who scored 5/171, was too strong for Newlyn, bowling them out for 170, with three balls remaining.
Newlyn won the second match, making 6/190 then bowled Dunnstown out for 53. Brayden Slater made 59 with Devin Lafranchi 39 not out and taking 4/11 and Justin Thompson 3/13.
In the third and final match, Newlyn got off to a steady start with captain Brayden Slater and Chris Eastwell recording a 136-run partnership before the fall of Eastwell for 80. Newlyn finished with 2/236.
Newlyn initially struggled with the ball, but was able to claw back the game with two quick wickets to Brayden Slater and one to Devin Lafranchi. Dunnstown was unable to recover, falling short by 32 runs.
