Highly respected songwriter, singer and guitarist Liz Stringer returns to the Old Hepburn Hotel with her band, fresh off the back of eight solid months touring her 2016 full-length release All The Bridges.
Stringer has reinforced her reputation for the highest quality musicianship, creative autonomy and blistering live shows. Special guest on the night is Timothy Nelson from Western Australia.
All the Bridges was recorded in Portland, US. the new collection of songs features her guitar work on all material, as she veers into some wonderful rootsty pop, with the recognisable heartfelt ballads. And, as fans know, she’s quite comfortable rocking out as well.
Rolling Stone magazine made some flattering Chrissie Hynde comparisons in its review. Stringer has become a favourite among punters for her generous, engaging stage demeanour and skill as a storyteller.
During solo shows and with Van Walker at The Old Hepburn, Stringer has shown she’s very open to offers on stage.
