Known to many as POPtastic Piano Bar, Lulu McClatchy and Ana Mitsikas are heading back to The Grande and debuting a new act: The Stilton Sisters.
There is no Broadway show the sisters won’t do, from Disney to Sondheim, Les Miserables to The Sound of Music, taking a tongue in cheek look at the roles they have already played around the world, the ones that got away and the ones they are yet to tackle.
The audience will be taken on a hilarious musical trip down memory lane, with more than a few singalongs on the way.
An unforgettable night of glamour, laughter and some beautifully sung musical numbers is assured.
Friday, Adrian Deakin @ Horvat’s Supper Club
Performing on Horvat’s upright piano, Deakin utilises his virtuous skills, with comparisons made to Bach, The Necks and everything between.
Saturday, Birdland @ Horvat’s Supper Club
Sparkling vintage music with a jazz flavor.
Join Cherie Bridges (aka Paris Payne) and her band of merry musicians featuring Robbie Melville on jazz guitar and Neil Hodgson on fretless bass for a night of a cool jazz, lounge, swing and Latin.
Friday, Arkie T Williams & the Mudlarks @ Blue Bean Cafe, Hepburn Springs
Arkie T Williams plays solo or with her band as Arkie T Williams and The Mudlarks.
The influence of bluegrass and folk in her work is evident. Songs like The Bastard Waltz, introduced with prose about her fatherless beginnings, are gutsy, raw and sorrowful.
Saturday, The Coopers (formerly the Capo Bros) @ Blue Bean Cafe, Hepburn Springs
Acoustic musos Andy Vogel and Trevor Shard having been working their duo around the local circuit over the last couple of years.
Describing their sound as “rootsy, alt-country, bluesy folk”, their gig picks up the trail of their favourite songwriters, with their own special blend of tight harmonies, guitars, squeezebox and harmonica.
Sunday, Nick Noon @ Blue Bean Cafe, Hepburn Springs
Come and see who the real Nick Noon is, solo and acoustic.
