On Saturday, December 3, Section 1 was won by Dominic Dennis 17/6 from Braydon Yanner 16/8 and Chloe Leonard 12/12. Section 2 was a tight contest with Otto Saunders defeating newcomer Ryan Colerio both 14/10 followed by Macy Roberts 13/11. In Section 3 Nathanial Lowe had a big win 13/5 over Jessica Santurini 9/9 from Mitchell Yanner and Adam Leonard both tied 7/11.

On Thursday twilight Maniacs (Kath, Gabe, Megan and Alex) won a tough match against the Tanias (Annette, Tania, Tim and Tanya) 25/23 and Pete’s Pistols defeated the Ypung Ones (with Brian Nolan) 28/20. Hobson’s Heroes beat Kaye’s Heroes 27/21.
On Saturday, 3 section of seniors played, with Lew Ingham 24/12 winning Section 1 over Maryborough’s Brian Hurse 19/16. In Section 2 Alistair Ferrier’s 21/13 edged out Barry Dimond with 22/14. David Tindal won Section 3 with 25/11 over S Curtin 17/13 and John Turnbull 18/16.
The Daylesford Lawn Tennis Club still has vacancies for Thursday twilight tennis and Saturday afternoon at all ability levels. Adult and secondary school players of all abilities are welcome and members play for free.
Annual membership is $100 or $300 for a family.

Thursday twilight tennis finishes on December 15 and resumes on February 2. Saturday tennis continues on every Saturday over the summer. Turn up after 1pm for a 1.30pm start.
Junior tennis has its final Saturday morning before the Christmas break on December 10, with resumption on January 28. Do not forget that the courts are always open for members to meet their local tennis buddies for a hit over the holidays.
At the AGM on November 17 the committee and executive remained unchanged, as did membership fees.
