Clunes hosted City Oval at home last week. At the close of play Clunes skippers Lois Hudson and Narelle Vorbach had tight games, with Vorbach’s rink winning by seven and Hudson’s going down by six. Lee Dixon’s rink with Bill Hudson, John Dellavedova and Dawn Vorbach lead throughout the day and powered to a 35 to 11 win, ensuring Clunes won outright by 25 shots.

Weekend
Division 7
Clunes hosted Ballarat East at home. Mark Byrne’s rink lost by a narrow margin. John Amao, with Rex Martin, Lois Hudson and Arno Van Berkel won their rink by 10 shots. Skipper Bill Hudson, with Craig Drewar, Fred Seers and Sheila Hollingworth, had a 16-shot victory and Clunes won by 13 shots. Hudson’s rink was declared the best performed of the weekend pennant teams.
Division 3
A close battle was played out between Clunes and Ballarat East. Clunes skippers Ingram and Dellavedova won their respective rinks by five and three. Ballarat East won by seven shots.
