The New Zealand-born artist, who topped the charts with the La De Das and their song Gonna See My Baby Tonight, has played alongside the likes of Carlos Santana, Ray Charles, Bo Diddley, Richie Blackmore from Deep Purple, Ronny Wood from Rolling Stones, Taj Mahal, Living Colour, and Joe Walsh from The Eagles.
In 1976, The Kevin Borich Express formed and was a support act Elton John, Jeff Beck, Buddy Guy and Status Quo, touring the US with AC/DC.
The good news is the band is still together and will stop in to Ballarat on October 14.
Borich released a new album in 2014, Totem, which is a collection of 16 new tracks featuring a range of musicians after performing at the Caloundra Music Festival in 2013, gaining a new generation of younger fans.
