The elusive forward, who represented the BFL in the AFL Victoria Community Championships this year, has not played since suffering an ankle/lower leg injury against East Point in round nine.
Pring kicked 19 goals in his eight appearances – making him one of the competition’s most dangerous small forwards.
Coach Gavin Webb told a BFL finals media conference on Wednesday that Pring had trained on Tuesday night and was a ”chance” to play.
His addition would be a huge boost for the Lakers, which although defeating the Cobras twice have only just fallen in on each occasion.
Webb said Isaac Kirby and Tanner Robertson were also in the mix to play after also missing the clash with Bacchus Marsh in the last home and away round.
Robertson has missed two games since injuring an ankle against Redan, while Kirby did not play against Bacchus Marsh on Saturday.
Defender Scott Carey (arm) looks set to play
Webb said with players coming off injuries and available, there were some decisions to be made at the selection table which would mean disappointment for some players.
Bacchus Marsh will wait until Thursday before making a call on Cam Richardson (leg).
Cobras midfielder Matt Denham, back with the club this year where he played all his juniors, said there was great excitement about playing finals football for the first time in 15 years.
He said the Marsh was really confident that if it could bring the same sort of pressure around the football that it produced against Lakers in a three-point loss at the weekend it could get a win.
Denham said a focus would be on executing better “down the stretch” in a game which was sure to be even more intense.
North Ballarat City coach Jordyn Burke and Redan coach Eammon Gill do not expect major changes for their elimination final at the Eastern Oval on Sunday
However, Sunbury is set to get versatile key position player Grant Valles back after missing two games with a dislocated finger suffered against Melton South.
The Lions face reigning Darley for the second week in a row in an elimination final at Darley on Saturday.
The Devils are keeping a close injury watch on playmaker Steve Kennedy and Dane Grenfell.
