The Saints went to the half time break 3-0, thanks to Zach’s great finishing. An early lapse in concentration resulted in Forest coming back to bring the score to 3-2 before a great team goal finished by Logan.
Final score: 4-2.
Under 13s
The Saints played Bacchus Marsh at home in a game which saw Daylesford at its best.
Nathaniel, Franki, Finn, Otto and Asher used their speed to win every race for the ball. Alice, Ahlia and Eero, in midfield, were tireless in bringing the ball forward.
Final score 0-0.
Seniors
The seniors had a massive win against under-manned Forest Rangers Green, ramming home 11 goals, all without their two strikers.
Harry Robb bagged four goals and Ivan Carter and Francis Comber two each.
Daylesford started slow and were pretty, but lifted in the second. Josh Backpass was good in goals, while Gonzalo Silva was up there with the best all day.
Next week will be more challenging against third placed Rangers White. Buningyong will finish first, with Daylesford second after their wins on the weekend.
Final score: 11-0.
Best: Francis Comber, Harry Robb, Ivan Carter, Gonzalo Silva, Sean Parklands.
