Goals were hard to come by, but Abdel and Jordy Barnes were the best of the attackers, along with the ever pacey Sean Parklands.

U11s
THE under 11s had a strong 5-2 win against Ballarat Red after the sides were locked 1-1 after half time. Daylesford managed to open opportunities in the second half by utilising their passing game. Despite the conditions and the tight pitch, the young Saints were able to put four more in the net.
U13
DAYLESFORD lined up against tough opponents in Norths United White at Victoria Park.
The defence was held up by Kelton’s excellent goalkeeping and Eric, Nathaniel and Asher’s solid work. Half-time was reached with no goals and both teams needing to catch their breath in the break.
Fast passes from Franki, Liam and Digby in the back through to Rohan, Finn and Jonas moved most of the game into the opponent’s half. This fast attacking play resulted in a pass from Rohan to Jonas who sprinted down the centre line to smash a power shot from outside the box into the top left corner.
Score: Daylesford 1 d North United White 0.
U15
The first derby between the hybrid Sebastopol/Daylesford team and Sebastopol was a tough game for the Saints.
Sebastopol claimed most of the play in the first 20 minutes and grabbed a trio of goals before the Sebastopol/Daylesford team dug their heels in against the attack.
Some fighting play by Deng, Taron and Govi kept Sebas/Dayl in the game and Lola cleared more than one shot from the goal mouth in defense. Santino belted a massive goal kick the length of the field to Jasper who placed it in the back of the net.
Score: Sebastopol 8 d Sebastopol/Daylesford 1.
