The group has played in a variety of venues and at folk festivals: Newstead Live, Daylesford Folk and Blues Festival, Newport Folk Festival, The Wesley Anne, Mamma Vittoria, The Bridge Hotel, Babushka Bar, Daylesford Cidery and Tavern, Perfect Drop, Art Trax to name a few.
Sunday, The Euthymics @ The Old Hepburn Hotel
Australia's only all GP, six piece cover band will perform at the pub and donate all takings to the Triloka Community Health Clinic in East Timor.
The Euthymics perform a mixture of classic covers from the 70’s onwards , with the mantra “dancing is good for your health”. The ensemble features none other than local GP Gerard Ingham.
Since 2012, local Daylesford doctors Greg Stewart and Greg Malcher, with nurse and medical student Kathleen Malcher, have travelled to the La Faek clinic in Triloka, to volunteer.
The clinic was set up some years back to cater for the health and needs of the area. This includes screening for malaria and tuberculosis.
Inspired by the facility, and recognising the need for financial assistance, GP’s at Daylesford’s Springs Medical Centre have been quietly raising funds for the clinic amongst themselves.
