He wanted to create something more meaningful, that could challenge people’s ideas and potentially drive them to change how they thought.

Mr Beaton created three books which have photographs coupled with inspiring phrases.

“They are my own reflective statements,” Mr Beaton said.

“I have already put them into waiting rooms and medical centres.”

Mr Beaton said he was prompted to publish his books after receiving many positive comments about the work he had published on Facebook.

“Life is about discovering the unknown,” Mr Beaton said. “I want to encourage people to stop and reflect.”
